No one cares what Booking.com's API runs on. It's GraphQL.

On the Graph

Apollo MCP Server started with a simple ask. When MCP first came out, customers wanted their agents to reach their own GraphQL APIs, so we built a server that turns GraphQL operations into MCP tools, with no hand-written tool per endpoint.

Is My Graph Healthy? Natural Language Access to GraphOS

Join Faisal Waseem, Staff Solutions Architect at Apollo, as he walks through the security architecture of Apollo Router and GraphOS, covering control plane governance, router-level authentication and authorization, demand control, and what it means to govern a GraphQL API in a world where AI agents are active consumers of your data.

GraphQL API Security in the Agentic AI Era

In one hour, we’re going to take a working OAuth-protected Apollo MCP Server — the kind you probably already have — and walk through exactly what’s wrong with it, why, and what to do about it

MCP Server Auth: Scopes, Step-Up Flows, and Token Exchange

You've built an MCP server, and now you want a real agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, whatever your users happen to bring) to connect to it securely, on behalf of an actual signed-in user. The moment you try, you run into OAuth. And MCP's take on OAuth has a twist that trips up almost everyone the first time.

Getting Started with MCP Server Auth

You don't need to replace your REST APIs to get the benefits of GraphQL. Apollo Connectors let you pull existing endpoints directly into your graph using configuration in the schema, no resolver code required.

Apollo GraphQL CEO Matt DeBergalis and American Airlines Senior Principal Architect Pragadeesh Prakasam came together at AI Agent Conference to explore how one of the world's largest airlines built the unified API architecture now powering AI agents in production.

The API Layer Is The Agent Layer: What's Standing Between Your AI Agents and Production

AI coding agents are only as useful as the context you give them. For GraphQL developers, that means understanding what Skills are, how MCP works, and how the agent loop actually operates under the hood.

What Your Agent Knows: Skills, MCP, and the Agentic Development Loop

This session is for engineers and architects who want to get more out of Apollo Router. Whether you're running a federated graph or a single GraphQL API, deep in your router deployment or just getting started, this session meets you where you are.

Apollo Router Best Practices: Performance, Security & Governance at Scale

American Airlines' Senior Principal Architect reveals how a context layer built over 1960s-era systems became the foundation for AI agents in production - on a 90-day cycle. The twin pressures every enterprise is facing, and how AA found a way through.

How American Airlines Puts AI Agents in Production Every 90 Days

Christian Ernst has spent seven years building the context layer behind Booking.com - the federated graph between the business and every human, app, and agent that needs to reason over it. Hear why governance had to be rebuilt as the platform scaled, how LLM hallucination became the perfect mock-data engine, and why the graph built for Booking's apps turned out to be the graph AI agents needed too.

Built for Travel, Ready for AI: Inside Booking.com's API Context Layer

In this hands-on workshop, Apollo GraphQL shows frontend developers how to take an existing web app and wire it up to an AI agent end-to-end.

Your UI, Inside the Chat Window: Building with Apollo & MCP Apps

The MCP Apps spec is a recently launched standard for building interactive applications that live inside AI chat interfaces like ChatGPT and Claude, where users can take real actions without ever leaving the conversation

The Future of MCP Apps

This workshop is designed for developers who already have a foundation in GraphQL and are ready to explore federated GraphQL. Whether you're evaluating Apollo Federation for your organization or looking to deepen your understanding, you'll leave with a working local environment and the concepts to build on it.
