Turning your graph into a developer platform with Apollo

Does this story sound familiar? A dev team adopts a new piece of technology. They build a POC, deliver an initial use case, do some internal evangelism, and now other teams want to use it too. But how do you expand to more teams without also creating redundancy and inefficiency? You need a platform! At Apollo, we’re building a graph platform that consists of our Router, our Clients, and our Control Plane.

In this talk, we do a deep dive into the Apollo Control Plane and show you how to safely scale your graph from one subgraph to hundreds. We’ll show you how to leverage Schema Proposals, Linting, Graph Visualization, Customized Checks, and more to create a paved path to success for your subgraph & client developers.
