June 25, 2026
@9:00 AM PT | 12:00 PM ET | 6:00 PM CET
You don't need to replace your REST APIs to get the benefits of GraphQL. Apollo Connectors let you pull existing endpoints directly into your graph using configuration in the schema, no resolver code required.
In this workshop, you will:
Declaratively map REST endpoints to a GraphQL schema using the @source and @connect directives
Fetch, reshape, and combine data across multiple REST APIs
Debug Connector mappings using Sandbox Explorer and the Connectors Mapping Playground
Learn how to use Apollo Skills to write Connectors following conventions
Learn about the latest features coming to Apollo Connectors
Who this workshop is for: Anyone exploring graph-based API orchestration. Basic familiarity with REST APIs is required. Familiarity with GraphQL's schema definition language is helpful, but not required. You can learn the basics on graphql.com.
Pre-requisites: Complete the following before the session. Full setup instructions will be sent ahead of time.
